Nairobi Safari Walk is Kenya’s only conservation-based recreation facility. It is also the first in Kenya to combine ecotourism with wildlife conservation education. The park in Nairobi is your gateway to exploring and learning about Kenya, its wildlife, and people through an exciting outdoor adventure. This is one of the most interesting experiences you will ever have while in Nairobi.
The main tourist attraction is the wildlife and the three ecosystems. You can see the forest, wetland, and the Savannah from the raised boardwalk in the facility. For nature lovers, this pack has over 150 tree species and a variety of exotic birds.

The park offers a variety of animals, which you may find as you walk along carefully constructed footpaths. You lions, leopards, the albino zebra, white rhino, and crocodiles.
Photography
From the three ecosystems to the wooden boardwalk, the park presents a picturesque view. You can take breathtaking photos while hiking or on spectacular picnic zones. However, don’t take photos where the guides forbid you not to do so.
Children museum
The children’s museum at Safari walk aims to instill a love for knowledge in children. Children will enjoy excursions here especially when they get to see animals such as lions. With these excursions, children get to visit art galleries, a snake park and see old artifacts.
The learning experience is also great for adults so teachers and parents can join. Qualified guides are normally present to answer questions and take the kids around.
Bird watching
Bird watching is an ideal opportunity to appreciate the splendor of approximately 400+ varieties of birds. The park has abundant water and fresh air conditions that are vital for breeding. Look out for birds like bee-eaters, Somali ostriches, paradise flycatchers, wild weavers, pygmy kingfishers, and Narina Trogon. The population also includes European immigrant birds and can be spotted in November.
